purchased, not purchased, own, don't own -- it doesn't matter. It isn't touching the star that does it. Viewing the item puts it on the list. I view something and I get recommendations for like products. would work for me. But for book reviews, what's recommended for beginners wouldn't be recommended for strong dan players so reducing a recommendation to one dimension is alway problematical.
