Hey guys, I've been thinking about reselling go books / material since there is almost no decent shop around. Do any of you have experience with contact with the publishers / vendors ? Would companies like kiseido accept relative small amount buys for resell ? What would be the procedure ? Should I contact them personaly or do they have a resellers site ? Any help would be greatly apreciated! Thank Otenki |

The only issue is that with small amounts I don't think you will get much of a discount if any. And no, they don't have a special site for resellers. |

You may have discovered this yourself by now, but the major publishers aren't particularly open to the idea of distributors/resellers because they think those people will take sales away from them. That's probably why there are very few comprehensive Go book shops around. Personally I think the pie can be expanded so that everyone wins, including the customers and authors, but I failed to convince them of that. We eventually gave up and decided to focus on other things... I hope you have better luck. Be careful not to sink too much time into it.
