Just played a game on Gopanda 2, and I am liking it a lot. I would like to request that you add reviewing tools, and perhaps also a score estimator. Other than that, it would be nice if you fixed the bug report function, which currently does nothing.

Hi daal, that's nice to know! Could you post a screenshot with a game in action?
A while back, I was having trouble logging in, etc. But maybe they've already fixed that.
(So I'm still using the old and stable gIgo client.)

Here is a shot from the game I played this morning (it was still open). I have the options menu open, so you can see what they are.

Hi Benjamin, it's been months and I still cannot log in with the panda2 client ( gopanda2-win-32.zip ).
I attach a screenshot -- it is stuck at "Connecting..." forever:

Hi Benjamin, after some time -- without doing anything differently -- GoPanda2 works on my Vista.
Two suggestions/feature requests:
- add an option to make the board 98+% full-screen height ?
- add an option to move the scroll bar from the bottom to the side (or the top, etc.)
Screen shot of the ideas:

Hi, sry for the long absence...

daal: Bug report tool works now, score estimator will be implemented soon.

ed: Your screen must be really small  For me, the "fuller" fullscreen when pressing f for the 2nd time is enough. But I like your suggestion. We just won't have time to implement that soon, because our schedule for most of 2014 is already full with other stuff...

Hi ahamay,

If you're still here: are you also working on the iOS Pandanet app ?
If so, I have some questions and suggestions. Thanks.

Sorry, I lost focus on this forum ^^° I'll try to check here more often in the future.

If you have questions or problems, you can always just write to support@pandanet-igs.com too - it will be mostly me responding :)

Regarding your question: No I don't have anything to do with the iOS app, so I recommend their forum: http://tetsuki.forum2go.nl/pandanet-igs-f2.html

Hi ahamay,

Thanks for dropping by. :)

Why are there two separate teams for the browser and for iOS ?

I’d guess that ahamay is with/from IGS, and that IGS probably published an API so that any third party can code a client, unlike with KGS.

I like the client overall, but an option to maximize the vertical space the board takes up would be great. It stinks having to give up so much of the limited vertical space in 16:9 monitors to the decorative board margin/empty space. Even in fullscreen mode there is significant loss, and the smaller the board, the more eye strain!

I've attached an overlay to illustrate just how much space is wasted. :)

PS: Thanks for making a linux client!

The iOS Pandanet(Go) lacks the players' info -- no names, no ranks, nothing --
for the pro tourneys like Kisei, Gosei, all the Kansai Kiin tourneys, etc.

Does anyone know why ?

The previous and other clients -- gGo, gIgo, and GoPanda for Windows and OSX --
all display the two pros' info.

But not the iOS Pandanet(Go).
This is very annoying because whenever I'm on iOS Pandanet(Go)(iPhone, iPad, etc.),
I always have to ask in chat for other kind spectators to relay the info.
Invariably, there are also others on iOS asking for the pros' info.

Is the iOS team even reading this thread ?
iOS Pandanet(Go) has been around since 2010. 6+ years.
Still no pro info on pro games ? Why ?!

Thanks.
