Hi all,

I haven't posted here in some time, looking for some input on a game I played today on KGS, and lost by 2.5
I think maybe I failed to attack his groups particularly well, especially the pincer stone at c8, maybe I should have played to take away his base there.
Maybe 74 was bad, too, and could have continued to grow the centre? Q12 perhaps?
I feel maybe I am just too timid at times, playing safe little shapes, I'm thinking moves 84 and 86 in particular.

Thanks!

Overall you followed the opponent around in premature endgame sequences, so that he kept sente all over the place. In the end there were some opportunities to reverse the game, as is to be expected from a 2,5 pt loss.

Sorry Knotwilg, I looked over your review a couple of times but had forgotten to post a reply.
I appreciate it it very much. I've been experimenting, with various results, over not replying to those 2nd/1st line moves if my groups are strong and I can see a bigger move elsewhere. Of course it takes time to get it right, and it appears that at times I misjudge the apparent strength of my groups or weaknesses of my opponents, but it has given me something more to think about during the game, and looking back at previous games it was a consistent problem.

Thanks again!
