Does anyone know where I could buy a zaisu chair online from Europe? They are available from the US but shipping costs as much as the chair itself

I doubt they are available from European resellers, but I guess you could save some money by buying it directly from Japan (try rakuten).

Just googling for it I immediately found two sellers in Germany alone:
