When I try to download Tygem games on the english client for windows 7 by pressing the save button nothing happens. Is there a somewhat easy fix?

The Save button is 1984 technology (original Mac). At least 31 years old.
The Tygem client itself is at least 5~8 years old.
Their Save button and UI (lack thereof) have never worked as they should.
It's mind boggling the Tygem coders haven't figured it out.

You can manually dig up Tygem's hidden Windows directory and copy the game by hand:

Example: C:\Program Files (x86)\TygemGlobal\Games\2015-02\

( It is a .gib file. It is NOT an SGF file. MultiGo can open it. )

This is probably the #1 most ridiculous UI bug in all Go software, ever.

The save button doesn't work on games you open later or from other people. I worked around this by using the Japanese client, but the English client is broken.

I wonder if they will fix it at some point. I see more and more Westeners joining Tygem, so maybe that will change thinking.

My experience:
I tried using Tygem again (English client, Windows 7). I was able to save games the first day, but today I noticed I can't. When reviewing a game in the View Games tab, I click Menu > Save Games and nothing happens. When I click Review instead, the Save button in the new window is greyed out. The same is true for printing games. This applies to my games, user games, and pro games. Only my games are automatically saved to ./TygemGlobal/Games/. I tried reinstalling Tygem but I did not solve it. I am not sure why I could save at first only to have it suddenly break lol.

Is there a solution for the English client? I will try another version in the meantime.

It works for the games you're playing but not on the reviews. That's why the first one worked.

Thank you for the response, Oren! The first ones were pro games, not my games. Now I can't save pro games or my games.
