Feel free to ask your questions about the future congress in my country or post your proposals and ideas.
One special thing I would like to try next year: pro tournament, open only for asian pros, attending congress. With game comments by Eu pros.
Few years ago i saw friendship match between top EU players and asian pros (on 2-3 handicap), but I never saw asian pros playing each other.
What do you think about this idea?

I think some pros would be reluctant to play without prize money, but the Nihon Ki-in successfully tried a kickstart in Japan to set up a 13x13 pro tournament. Perhaps you could try a kickstart among western fans (and maybe eastern ones, too) to collect funds for a significant prize. Contributors could maybe be offered an exclusive fan signed by all the participating pros.

Also, the kickstart could include an element for contributions to the European pros to pay for their commentaries.

When going by public transport from Pulkovo airport to the congress, which ticket or tickets does one have to buy where? On the Sunday at the end of the congress, when is the earliest public transport to the airport?

On arriving at the congress site, I will ask for the next supermarket. Please have this information available, thx!

Pro-pro tournament? When organising the EGC 2000, I suggested such but the other organisers objected. I think during some later congress there was a mini event of the kind but I forgot details and year.

I think a much more interesting (and useful) event would be EuroPros vs AsiaPros team match. This way both groups can learn from each other and we can all see how the players stack up against each other. It would be cool to have such event as a standared feature of each future EGC.

There are a lot of AsianPro vs AsianPro torunaments and games as it is. Not sure if I would pay to see more - I can't even review a small percentage of the existing material. I might pay for good reviews from EuroPros, but then I would like to put my money into the reviews, not into the games.

I have spoken. :)

PS>
I don't live in Europe, I won't attend the EGC, and I really don't know anybody involved, so who cares what I say. ;)

Answers:
1. We will have free transfers from Pulkovo - check our website for details: http://egc2016.ru/en/news/transfer. Also, to Pulkovo at the end of the congress

2. Supermarket. You can find few really close to Azimut hotel - just cross the street and you will see one.
