How is the situation in the "split" federations? That is in Italy and Russia? Any news, resolutions or solutions that the lazy English reading Go community missed? |

Last I read, in Italy things were mostly solved after a scandal involving the president of one of them, and the new administration taking over. Most members were re-joining the official federation. I can't find the posts now, don't remember if they were here or GoDiscussions. Have no idea about Russia, though. |

Nothing interesting here, in Russia. Federations of Sergey Lvov and Igor Grishin are still separated, but it's not a problem at all. In Italy the biggest problem was sending representatives for important events, f.e. WAGC, but here in Russia Igor Grishin and his team has no interest of attending such events. We have classic Sport Federation vs Non-Sport Federation match. |
