I have sometimes joked that my university club should be called the GCGC - Go, Chess, and Glee Club. We will occasionally start to randomly sing. Tonight, we actually wrote a parody song. This is to the tune of "Part of Your World" from Disney's The Little Mermaid. Thought I could share it with you guys. Some of My Points - The Song of the Over-Aggressive Player (Maybe he's right. Maybe I do overplay and start aggressing when I don't need to. I just don't see how I could play without staking the game on fight.) Look at these points Aren't they neat? Wouldn't you think that this game is complete? Wouldn't you think you're the one The one who I will defeat. But look at this board Aji untold How many ko threats can one dead group hold? Looking at this don't you think I've got everything Got attachments and cross-cuts aplenty I've got hanes and knight's moves galore Sure I'm winning right now Up by twenty! But who cares? No big deal I want more! I wanna invade all of the things I wanna fight, wanna fight over nothing So what if I play those - what do you call 'em? Oh - empty triangles! Playing it safe you don't get too far Fights are required for winning by resign Why let his group live just to - what do you call that? Profit I'll steal that eye I'll take that cut Oh crap he's living right here in my stuff! Oh but this game - wish I could save Some of my points |
