I like to guess moves while replaying pro games, however, in most games there are long sequences where I am totally lost. So I am always happy to find games, which are nearly completely comprehensible for me. Usually these are peaceful games whith a minimum fighting and reading beyond my abilities.

Here's a game between Cho Chikun and Kato Masao I replayed lately, and I liked it a lot for the clearness in flow and style:

I quickly browsed through the game, and the moves played all seem like normal moves I see in games around my level all the time, but I bet there's a ton of implied threats like make-a-mistake-and-total-carnage-will-ensue hidden in this game as well. This one will require some replaying on the goban, yessir.

It'd recquire comments by strong players.

If this game is crystal clear to you you should selfpromote yourself to at least 4d or something!

If just browsed the first 50 moves and find it hard to imagine their thinking.

Older games are the best for such study. For a balance of modern opening theory and traditional shape adherence, try to stay between Honinbou Dousaku and Honinbou Shuusai (1667~1936).

There are a lot of empty triangles and bad shape going on here If it wasn't for the coherent wall building and tesujis I'd guess this was a DDK game.

If a move works, even if it looks ugly, it's OK.
If a move fails, no matter how pretty it looks, it's bad.
So under the right conditions, an empty triangle or even an "ugly" dumpling can be a brilliant tesuji.
