Level 1 (easy)

What is whites best play?

hint:
(White has won this game already but lets suppose he wants to win with > 150 points)

Level 2 (difficult)

How does black defend?

Have fun!

Hi Gomoto,
Initial feeling is W drops at B12,
cap race, big eye v. small eye (with 0.5 ko).

For B to defend, do you mean after W drops B12,
or instead of B's current move A17 key point ?
Hmm, maybe the same spot, ladder at B12...

(Solution Easy Problem)
After white B12, is it possible to defend as black? :)

Universal go server handle: herminator
Black descends at B12 to create semedori. Black must immediately capture white's group in gote. So it gains a few points in sente for white, who can then go on to take the next biggest endgame at O1.

Best play depends upon the method of scoring. :)
