I have heard an interesting story about following game. Black tenuki in a winning position and white won semeai instead. Move 93-94.

It was a game between two strongest players of their time and yet both of them missed it. Later 4-dan scorer pointed it out to both of them.

Game Info:

Url: http://ps.waltheri.net/database/game/38306/

Black: Fujisawa Kuranosuke (9p)
White: Go Seigen (9p)
Date: 1951-10-20
Event: Ten-game match sponsored by Yomiuri Shinbun
Komi: 0
Result: W+R

Can someone point out better move 93 that is winning for black? I can't find it.

It is different from the game position, how to make move 16 from solution is unclear to me. I am DDK and on a mobile device so if someone can provide a solution in SGF it would be very helpful to me.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you, it was very nice. Viewed it on gridmaster and it was clear and eye-friendly. Still bit of an exercise for me after move 105 but it was not very difficult.

Is this kind of thing happen often in top level play or this was an exception case?

Should, as a 15 kyu, I study Pro games? This was kind of life-death problem too.

Also I can't find other games from this jubango in SGF format, are they freely available online?

A very rare double oversight.

Why not? Pro games have everything. Even without comments you can pick up a lot. :)
