Post subject: | Best practices for creating Tsumego on a Mac |
Hi all, first post here and I'm a returnee from a 10ish year hiatus from Go. I'm in the process of teaching my kids Go (10 year old and an 18 year old with a learning disorder). Once upon a time, I owned a Windows pc and knew how to create problem databases, but since I've aged and don't enjoy tweaking programs like I used to, I moved on to Apple and do not remember the ins and outs of creating problem databases, Could someone provide some best practices for creating Tsumego databases on a Mac? I'd like to take some of my foreign language tsuemgo books that have hundreds of problems for beginners, and create a problem database from them and have the kids sit at the computer and go through them with me. I have SmartGo and Sabaki installed. Should I use a different program? Any suggestions are welcome. PS, My search-fu has not landed me the info I was looking for, so if there is a detailed post, I apologize. |
