me and hailthorn agreed to meet and play friday at 5pm; i waited an hour and 15 minutes with him not showing, nor any message as to not being able to make the arranged time; therefore, though i hate to do it, declare win by forfeit.

I do not know where this whole forfeiture idea came from as I've never seen this in any of the tournaments run by members of L19 unless someone pulled out, so, anyway. I convinced him to play the game with me and I lost game 1.

Online playing schedule: KGS on Saturday I use to be online, but I can be if needed from 20-23 GMT+1
I've played our first game with tj, and I won a hard fighting game. I don't know what's up with me lately: 3 games, 3 times white, 4 star points or more. Influence game and then bam, I go for the hunt. I can't go like this, my reading is not good enough to back me.

Comments welcome, of course.

F5 is sooo greedy. Maybe if there was a stone at D10 but on this board F5 begs to be made irrelevant.

What's the best way to handle it?

How are everyone's games going? Lets try and keep this going best we can.

Speedchase beat me today to win the series 2-1.

I'm looking forward to the rest of the games.

Goodluck!

I'm 1-1 against RBerenguel, and we try to play our deciding game during next weekend at the latest.

Gorim won the first game this sunday, and we were supposed to play the second one yesterday, but I couldn't get off work on time.

So it seems like enough games for the first round have been played to get a result. So to keep this thing moving lets move on to round 2!

The matchups are as follows:

Winners Bracket:
Speedchase v Phillip18 (2-1)
tj86430 v Gorim (0-1)

Losers Bracket:
Nathan v Hailthorn
RBerenguel v Phelan

http://www.bracketmaker.com/tmenu.cfm?e ... =4-8%20Kyu

Looking forward to the games!

Goodluck everyone

I'm giving up on the Kocoro cup, so Phelan wins 2-0 by forfeit :( I have a huge work load ahead, and getting 2+ hours for go in a day is almost impossible, even if I have flexible schedules. I'm sorry!
