Against such tough position I thought he could probably get a win against a 6 dan, but he did even better and beat 2 euro pros, Pavol Lisy 2p and Tanguy le Calve 1p! He lost to Stanislaw Frejlak 7d but goes through to the quarter finals where he plays Ben DG 6d tomorrow at 9am GMT. Winner of that plays Artem or Nikola, Ilya is in the other half the draw and was the only one to win all 3 in the group stage.
