GoGoD is honoured to have been approached by Chen Zuyuan, the world's premier rules expert, to share his researches on the history of the development of go rules. And we can really say at last - a rules text worth reading. I normally switch off when the rules debates starts but I found Mr Chen's article interesting and illuminating. You can find it on the GoGoD homepage and look for the link to NewInGo.

Best wishes.

I went to NewInGo, but I couldn't find it. Did I miss it?

Maybe, it is item number 80 on the list. I sometimes have to press refresh after loading stuff on the site; maybe you could try that.

Best wishes.

GoGoD's webpage uses some kind of frames. If you can't see the relevant links, try to find the vertical bar close to the right end and drag it to the left. This opens the possibly almost hidden link frame.

In particular, direct links might help you:

I appreciate your opinion, and I am glad that GoGoD is publishing Mr. Chen. However, Mr. Chen certainly has peers in go rules expertise.

A very interesting exploration, though I didn't like how it turned into Japanese rules bashing by the end.
