We have the pleasure to invite you at the IASI GO CUP, an open GO tournament that will take place between August 27th -29th, 2010 in Iasi, Romania.

We hope that the prizes, the contest atmosphere, the presence of some of the most powerful European players and Japanese professionals, together with the particular charm of the town of Iasi - the cultural and religious capital of Romania will determine you to be among our guests at this tournament.

In addition to the many touring sites, museums, old churches and monasteries, Iasi is the perfect gate for a few days trip to the Monasteries from the Northern part of Moldavia – a well known UNESCO site, at only 100 km far.

For the more dynamical persons, Iasi – the second Romanian University town, with more than 100.000 students, will offer you – even in summer a lot of entertainment places: clubs, discos, bars, and so on.

Iasi is easy to be reached by plain, the local airport – even if very small, is well connected with all important European cities.

At the same time and location, the first best 16 Romanian (8 seniors and 8 juniors) will fight for the first title of ROMANIAN GO MASTER.
