For those of you who can pick up the BBC radio programmes, on 13 May they are broadcasting a half hour programme on the game. More details here http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00s9g0b

Best wishes.

Online playing schedule: Every tenth February 29th from 20:00-20:01 (if time permits)
Anyone know if this will be available from the BB website in the USA?

You should be able to listen to it live at the following URL: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/bbc_radio_fourfm

And thanks TMark for announcing this.

[Seeing they have quite a few of their programmes available as podcasts maybe there is a chance that they'll make this one available, too.]

It will be available from here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/programmes/ ... umentaries , but only for 7 days.

Thanks, TMark, for posting this! I hope I'll be able to hear it, too. :)

It was a nice program. They should do this more often :D They even went to the Netherlands to visit the European Go Center.

Yeah, it is. Jordus, please take down those. The BBC even let you listen to it for 7 days afterwards, so no need for those except for private archiving.

It was a nice program, a fairly standard Radio 4 affair. No specifics on how to play Go, just tasteful introduction to the culture and the surroundings. The only thing I'd quibble with was the impression that computers can't play a decent game of Go. Out of date talk! Overall - an impressive program.

(oh how I hate to start a copyright thread...)

Wrong !!

It just means it hasn't been caught (or reported) yet.
