Great project!

I see there's a web-based version now

Thank you YeGO! I just want to say that the web version is a heavily trimmed down version of Sabaki. Also, I didn't test it very thoroughly, so kindly report if you encounter any bugs. :D

In case anyone finds Sabaki too bright, I'm keeping some modified versions of the files that turn it into this:
http://i.imgur.com/G0bSLif.png

Of course this is all a matter of taste. Anyway, those are at:
https://github.com/fohristiwhirl/sabaki_subdued_theme

Or you can make your own...

Edit: things have changed in 0.14.0. Now it's a case of finding the folder Sabaki uses to store its config files, and copying the theme files into there.

can anyone help me setting up pachi in sabaki so it uses the opening books of fuego?i did like recommended but Pachi plays pretty weird opening moves. Also i would like to know how to give pachi more memory and cores for better performance.
I also put the Additional pattern files in my pachi directory. How can i check if they and the opening book actually work in sabaki?

Sorry i am a total GTP engine noob.

As for the book (you can use fuego books):

Change to your paths.

As for the pattern files: I don't know, Pachi does not tell in its output. The starting is taking longer, I read...

so if i put that line in the arguments in the sabaki engine menu it should use the book right? the thread value refers to the number of cores used, right? so if i increase that number it should give pachi more power, right? if i did everything right, pachi should play more common fuseki instead of answering my 4-4 opening with a let's say a move around the hoshi at 17-10, no?

thanks for your reply

Yes yes yes. Also, if opening book is used, Pachi will instantly reply as long as match is in book.

Hello Jnkstry, I'm glad you like the tatami background! It will be shipped with version v0.15.0 of Sabaki which will be released next week or so...

That is great news. The all-wood-look was the only small thing i wasnt to happy about.
Will the animated fuzzy stone placement be implemented as well?

just downloaded v. 0.15. Love the look. Being able to make a library with selected games and adding kogos joseki lib. makes sabaki awesome looking and super useful.
playing with pachi 11 is a blast.

one thing. i have the photorealistic theme and would like to go back to standard. how can i do that without losing settings and stuff?

Thanks! As for the userstyle, simply remove styles.css from the application settings folder. It won't change any settings of Sabaki.

It worked. Thanks for that.

One more thing: I can't seem to save added games in the "manage games" section. i added kogos joseki. after i restart and look for it in the "manage games" section it is gone..

Is this a known bug?

It's nothing that I know of... Can you reproduce the problem? If yes, please describe the steps leading to this and what you would expect Sabaki to do.

Keep in mind that games in 'Manage Games' are tied to SGF files.

1. open sabaki
2. manage games
3. add existing game
4. i chose a sgf file (i tried kogos joseki sgf and several games i downloaded from gogameguru, ogs and kgs)
5. close sabaki
6. restart
7. manage games
8. no games are in the library

i want to try and completely delete sabaki and reinstall it.
is it enough to remove the %appdata% folder and the folder that i unzipped sabaki to?

i would love to have sabaki as my studying library

Using OS X 10.11 -- found ~/Library/Application Support/Sabaki, but removing styles.css doesn't do anything, as it's recreated each time Sabaki is launched. It's blank anyway, perhaps this isn't the right way to remove the realistic style?

Also found the game library is reset each time; games that have been added haven't been moved, but don't show up under "manage games"
