Define "abnormally high".

Re: The (probable) decline of pro baduk
I think it's the other way around: the decline in popularity among koreans (japanese or chinese for that matter) will ultimately transform the world of pro go playing.

Korean Problem Academy books
Hello,
Does anybody knows what korean books are the "korean problem academy" problems that were on GoBase from?
Sensei's library page has some ISBN numbers but they seem to be wrong.
Any clue?

Speed Baduk 1
Hello
I'm looking for a new or used in good condition copy of the first book in the speed baduk series.
I've already checked or asked in all the known stores (yutopian, kiseido, gogameguru, etc) and they don't have it.
Thanks in advance!

Re: proverbs - original language
I think the "lose 50 games" should be amended by adding lose 50 games in which you pay attention and think about your moves. If you just throw stones around and don't pay attention to what happens you'll never get any better. If you pay attention and think about your moves (have goals and plans ...

Re: proverbs - original language
I like the "lose 50 games" proverb and I always tell it to the people I teach how to play.
I always explain the meaning as:
-Don't get depressed at a lost game, as losing is part of learning.
- Don't expect to always win, for as in life, losing is part of the game
- Play as often as possible when ...

SGF collection management
Hello,
Does anyone here know of a SGF collection management tool similar to Jacoto or StoneBase?
Link: m
Jacoto doesn't seem to work anymore, even though I tried it in many different computers.
I'm not looking for pattern searching, just a nice grid view, and text search.

Help identifying ukiyo e prints
Hello,
I have some ukiyo-e reproductions from the Nihon Kiin calendars framed. I think they belong to the 2005 and 2006 or 2007 calendars.
However I have no information about their authors, date, etc.
It would be nice to have some information like the one on this page: http://www.kiseido ...

Contacting Yutopian
Hello,
This afternoon I've tried to contact Yutopian, but it seems info@yutopian.com has been blacklisted and my mail was rejected.
Does anybody know another address to send them an e-mail?
