Count me in. I've been hovering on the border of 6 kyu and 7 kyu for months - I just don't know what I need to break the 5k barrier, let alone the shodan barrier.

KGS is cool because...

...you can watch TheCaptain kill a dragon that goes right across the board, and then half way back again!

So many different styles of play, and so easy to find your favourite players' games to watch and learn from.

I've heard that "Direction of Play" is specifically aimed at dan players. How did you find the level? In your opinion, at what kyu level would it become useful?

I've heard Yilun Yang's "Fundamental Principles" is excellent, but haven't been able to get hold of it - it seems quite rare.
