Re: The Theory And Practice of Go by O. Korschelt
Does your library participate in ILL (library loan)? If so, you can actually get books from across the whole planet through this system. You need to wait a bit for them but it greatly opens up what is available to you. Check and see. If so there a ton more (and more current) go books you can borrow ...

I don't think there is anyway to really mark an escaper. I've had one game escaped on, so I blocked that user, but I also had a system crash while I was still using Linux, so I escaped a game. I did make it a point to email the guy I blamed, apologized profusely, and told him I would be up for ...

Re: Hi there.
The ego here I can handle, as at least most are willing to teach you a thing or two when it's all said and done. I've only encountered two players I wanted to pummel, but that's also because one thumped on me when I asked for teaching and review, and as soon as I mentioned it, they escaped the game ...

Hi there.
Well, I found myself playing Go as I was sick of Chess. It's not that I'm necessarily a bad Chess player, it's that I grew bored with the game and a lot of the egos that come with it. So I decided to play Go, won my first game today, and realized that yep, I'm hooked. So here I am introducing myself ...
