haha, i actually had similar experience
one reason I can think of is doing multiple choice questions is different from doing short answers or essay questions
in a real game we don't have the potential answers provided to us
just take them as good exercises

ok by "1p" i mean the strength needed to become a pro in either japan,korean,china

as i know, KGS is the hardest server to get 9d
all the 9ds are mostly pros (milan,smartrobot) or ex-insei(korondo,shawn)
since korondo beat dinerschtein and catalin in EGC, his strength is also like 1p
even shikshin ...

Is this like a Korean version of World Amateur Go Championship?
Which one competes at a higher level? or are they about the same?

just resign those games that they escaped..that's what I do
it may hurt your rank but at least you have done a good thing for yourself

btw don't forget to censor them

there are TONS of small stationery stores along the streets
the easiest way is to find elementary or middle schools, there must be stationery stores around them
I would say 90% of them sell Go sets
