Re: How to run KGS?

That fix does not work for me, there is no where to add site exceptions in my java control panel. The window looks the same, without that option though.

Re: Kaya is dead, long live OGS

I have visited a few websites where the layout was extremely similar to kaya, the elements and sliding things to bug you. Same size, font etc. They weren't related to go.
I think a lot of kaya was built from some template or website-in-a-box so you will never see the source released.

The worst part is I've heard he took a nice job in California making quite a lot of money, he could at least return some of it.

When our community is so small, something like that sucks us dry and sets us back in time as well.

Re: Kaya is dead, long live ☯GS

I support keeping this board open as sort of a reminder if the Kaya creator ever visits here.

He took tens of thousands of dollars in donations, and he didn't even open the source before he disappeared. You would assume that everyone who supported him deserved at least that.

Re: Champion Go HD strength on various iPad models

Other than server mode, the issue is this program is not much stronger than gnugo on a PC. On galaxy the wait for level 10 is still shorter than 10 second blitz so I hope the calculation depth is redone in the near future.

You could tell the writer wasn't a proper go player. He thought four stones was a small handicap. (Ishida lost by 5 points)

Although the march of the machines is unstoppable, I found it interesting that the pros who are now specifically studying 9x9 in response to the 9x9 programs appear to have ...

gogameguru you might want to reconsider choosing only the other 80%, seems as though people can't tell a veneer anyway :o

CrazyStone 2013 Anaylsis Function

A few questions for anyone who has used CS 2013:

Do the move analysis give considered moves and their continuations like remi posted a long time ago?

Are the CS 'choice' moves displayed on the board by some marker, or must you manually find the coordinates?

Class would be buying equipment and donating it to your local club. Buying expensive equipment and showing it off is, well, being a show off.

Re: How to model a go bowl in Blender?

When I have trouble modelling something I always sketch it out in pencil using a kind of volume sketch method.

If you don't know how to draw, I'd highly recommend learning before modelling. You get a great understanding about how things go together.

Thanks for reaching out to us, we really appreciate everyone's concerns. We thought we had resolved this many years back when we had gone through all the reformulation and subsequent tests with the Yunnan Weiqi factory so obviously we were concerned. We take ...

Re: TED Talk: "A new equation for intelligence"

An alternate view .

Its really hard to take any commentary seriously where they refute a mathematical argument with a couple of handwavey sentences. "Oh, everyone knows a pole doesn't balance on a cart, so this is wrong"

It seems like these author's articles are always like that, they attack ...
