I don't know if it's in any way relevant to your problems, but
have you tried downgrading to JRE6?

Last time I tried JRE7 I had to gave up due to problems with KGS. :cry:

Playing a move you know is bad in the hope that your opponent doesn't read or know the refutation is bad.


Sounds like a standard answer, but why is this the case? Why is it bad? That is to say, if you feel that you increase your chances of winning the game by doing so, why not go for it ...

I don't much like "Opening Theory Made Easy", because I find it very jumpy and incomplete.

It covers a lot of base without being bogged down with unnecessary detail.

That being said, I can't think of another title to recommend for understanding the opening...

I can't get it from a Korean website because I don't read Korean.

When I follow the link Matthews mentioned as approved there are plain links to the pdf chapters in English.
No knowledge of Korean seems to be needed...

Since Jordus abstained from any ownership influence when L19 was founded, this forum is run by the community.
This makes L19 very special and one can't compare it with privately owned forums.

I tried to find them but failed miserably.
Any hint to where on the site this can be found?
