I'm 28, but my perspective on time is screwed up, so I don't know what I feel like.

I'm considering fronting the cash to procure equipment for a go club being held in the west Houston, TX area.

The two main go clubs in houston meet too far away from me, and even though West Houston is about 10 minutes
from me, it seems to be a more central location for a large populous of people ...

Yeah, I don't think it can be kaya as kaya has that very distinctive yellow quality to it.

It was used, and assuming it was katsura (as the pictures looked kaya, but I couldn't be sure) I bid 1200 for it.
Which is cheaper than a brand new board. It has dents and wear on it, but as far as I'm concerned that's a bit of
history

Go is my obsession, and I always knew I'd own a board like ...

It was listed as an "Antique" and "Told me it was solid kaya" which I was highly skeptical of given the price asked.
I hope it is katsura.

I recently made a purchase on ebay. a 17cm thick go table with legs.

Would anyone be able to tell me the type of wood used to create this table if I were
