Re: FindGoPlayers.com launch
Great stuff! Hoping to find a lot more people around my area who like to play! I also wonder how many people are actually around me, but they probably aren't going to sign up or have no idea about L19 or the findgoplayers website.

Re: Ready Player One
I thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't know what but to me it kind of had like this Ender's Game feel to it, and some of the scenes I imagined them looking sort of gritty like the original Bladerunner. Haha!

Re: How old are you?
Just had my birthday on the 25th of May and finally turned 21!
Although I believe in sober living so it wasn't as exciting as most people would've seen it as. Although now I can go see my favorite bands that come through and only play at bars AND I've also seen it as a new door open in the social ...

This workaround fixed the issue for me. Now I'll just have to keep this in mind when the next update comes around in case the same issue arises. Thanks Uberdude for sharing.

Just wanted to say thanks for the Windows workaround. It was a success.
As for the osX workaround, well, this is the kind of restrictions you can expect with Apple products.

Coffee & Go: Possible Bad Combo...
Sitting in a coffee shop right now...two cups of coffee, and all of a sudden I feel like I'm rushing everything. Playing sloppy, reacting on opponents play rather than whole board thinking...anyone find this to be a bad combination (caffeine & go)? I'm thinking that this shouldn't be the way to play ...

Weird...I've never heard anything about Nova.
I can't believe they decided to end this. I felt like it had a lot of potential and it looked wonderful. There were hardly any people on it, but my brother and I played against eachother all the time on it...I'm sad to see it go...a little shady from ...

Both very helpful resources. I've heard some good and bad about "Opening Theory Made Easy" but it's still worth a shot. Can't wait to start reading the articles as well. Thanks guys!

I Want To Learn More About the Opening...
Since the first day of my journey in Go, I've always been interested/fascinated in the theories that surround the opening part of this game. With this topic, I would like to know more about the first few points (excluding the 4-4 star point), such as why some people choose to play 5-4, 3-4, I've ...

Re: Mainstream Go Sightings
There is a book out there called Satori.
Here is the description:
It is the fall of 1951 and the Korean War is raging. Twenty-six year-old Nicholai Hel has spent the last three years in solitary confinement at the hands of the Americans. Hel is a master of hoda korosu or "naked kill," fluent in ...

Go Desktops and/or Icons for Forums
Hey guys,
Any of you out there have any really cool artsy looking Go pictures that you can use for your desktop or any neat little icon pictures for forum websites? Just got a new computer and I want to decorate it the right way.
The resolution on my computer is 1366x768. I looked on Google and ...

Re: Resources for learning/studying shapes?
My rank has gone up by two on KGS since the last time I updated (I apologize) and I also should have mentioned that I've studied opening theory in depth as well as Tesuji. The replies that have been added are exactly what I was looking for though. Also websites or books that have life & Death ...
