Re: How to defend against a monkey jump?

You should check out the lecture serise on Monkey Jumps at the Internet Go School. The lessons I beleive where by Gou Juan (Sp) and clearly laid out the situational cercumstances that you must look at to determine which strategy is correct for dealing with the Monkey Jump.

Re: Number of wrong moves

I have thought about this from time to time as well.

I think that I read somewhere that pro's think they make a mistake about every 3 moves. I could be wrong about this but if it is true it is hard to believe that any move an amature could make could be right.

On the other hand sometimes I feel ...

Re: US Go Congress in year 2012

Re: Interview with Anders Kierulf of SmartGo

I have been using smartgo books on my iPad for a while. I just put it on my iPhone but the books I have already purchased did not show up on my phone. Do I have to buy them again to get them on my phone? Thanks!

Re: Michael Redmond: Patterns of the Sanrensei

The ABC's of Attack and Defense by Redmond is one of my favorite go books. He writes in a very clear and understandable manner.

There is a huge chance that I will be reading this new book on my couch tonight. :)

Re: Interview with Anders Kierulf of SmartGo

I got Smat Go Books for my Ipad the other night and bought the John Fairbairn. I like it quite a bit. I love the digrams and can see how this is going to be the next big thing in Go study.

I have also used SmartGo Pro a ton on my Iphone and I love that too.

One question I have is what is the ...

Re: Yithril (4d) vs. Kirby 3 stone game

The large knights move is also recommended by Michael Redmond in the ABC's of Attack and Defense for 3 stone games.

Easy fuseki.
