North Korea
In this forum, when speaking about baduk in Korea, we (Westerners) mean South Korea.
When speaking about Korean pros we mean South Korean pros.
So ,,, what's the situation of baduk in North Korea?
I already know that it's a poor country and that its dictator is more interested in feeding missiles ...

Re: Unsatisfactory victory (6k vs. 5k)
Re: Style, I heard one strong player say once about kyu and low dan games, "There is no such thing as style. Only weaknesses." If you want my advice, forget about studying one style if you want to get stronger.

Unsatisfactory victory (6k vs. 5k)
This is a game I played yesterday.
Despite I won it and it's a good example of my playing style, I am not satisfied with it.
The weak points I see are:
- Bad joseki at the upper right joseki,
- My invasion at the botom corner,
- And my reply to the invasion at the upper left sides.

Re: Overcoming mood
trout wrote:Controlling your mood is very important for your playing go or for your life.
When I want to play an aggressive game I listen to heavy music, and when I want a calm game I listen to calm music.
The problem is that my opponent might feel in another mood, and thus our game become a mess.

and I'm enjoying it a lot:
It's easy to read, there are few moves in every diagram and, that's the best, when Go Seigen plays a pivotal move and I wonder why he ...

I'd suggest Kombilo:

My favourite feature is the "Guess" mode, very useful when watching pro games.

Re: It's still hard to buy equipment in Spain
I bought a magnetic goban in El Corte Inglés some years ago, and last time I went I saw a whole pack made of recycled wood, that is, board and stones.
