Any good apps or websites for online Go on phones/tablets?

Is the OGS website the best one, or are there better alternatives for websites or apps for iOS or android?

As some background, I used to play on KGS on the computer, but tablets seem to fit my lifestyle more lately.

Re: A Go AI app for iOS with that strong neural network

Even though I don’t really play go these days anymore, it’s still very nice to see an app like A Master of Go being developed and updated as frequently as it has been.

Please don’t mind my following suggestions even though I have not purchased the app.

While I am not sure how Apple’s Apps Store ...

Has anyone put new ways of play by AlphaGo into books etc.?

Just wondering if anyone has compiled what could be learned from AlphaGo's plays into learning materials.

So you will be able to get a high-level analysis done be CS, if time is no limiting factor for you.

Re: Have you dreamt about go?

I'm not sure. I know I've spent a lot of time envisioning moves, boards, etc, and that some of those times are in bed while trying to go to sleep. But I'm not sure if any of that has been dreams (I'm a bit of an insomniac, and often find myself wide awake in bed, not sure if I've been asleep for a ...

Have you dreamt about go?

Have you dreamt about go after you have spent a lot of time studying, watching or playing go?

I know I do, and the dreams are not even helpful; they just get some local board positions' still images stuck in my mind without me remembering them in the morning.

The same was true about Tetris when I ...

Re:

Hi EdLee,

Hi pragmatic,

Depending on the whole board, if B can fight,
B can follow up with his threat -- what's B's threat on ?
B was aiming at cutting in between white's two space extension, right?

However, if W S13 after B R12, doesn't black become heavy while white has at least one eye?

If ...

What can black do if white resists?

I have read in The Basics of Go Strategy and seen in Hikaru no Go the following supposedly forcing sequence starting with to help construct a black moyo if white goes with in variation 1.

However, what should black do if white plays in variation 2?

Re:

Hi pragmatic,

Did you read other options ? Did you read N13 ?
I might have, but at that moment I wanted something kind of forcing, but I guess if W Q14, I could have B Q13 after your suggested move of N13?
Why ? What was your reading here ?
Fear of getting cut into two groups.
Why ? What was ...

Re:

Hi pragmatic,

Did you consider any other points ? Did you consider J3 ?
Hmm... good point, then white would have to get another eye in the center while I attack him/her to get some sort of profit/influence.

Re:

Hi pragmatic,

Let's think about this move for a moment.
Maybe you have seen the following (common) sequence:
$$B

$$ | . . 1 . . . . . .
$$ | . . . . . . . . .

Please critique my game? 18/4/16

Is 69 unreasonable because white was able to push above and cut later?

Are 163 to 167 unreasonable because of possibility of S8?

Please ignore my 241 'misclick' that could have lost me the game.

Besides these points are there other moves I could improve upon?

Thanks in advanced for any comments ...

Re: Are there two proper ways to hold go stones?

EdLee, those all make picking up a go stone a bit more difficult. It's true that the other fingers have to work together for the two primary stone holding fingers.
