Re: REGISTRATION for the 2011 L19 tournament

Well long time since I posted something :)

Thx Joaz for the invitation!
Sadly I'm currently busy with moving places here in Germany, therefore I've to refuse, but if needed I'd glad to review some of the lower-ranked games.

Keep going

In our game Tabemasu was always two steps ahead, somehow a frightening experience :)

Anyways, I'm rooting for him now! Go Tabemasu

Hey folks,
atm I'm super busy, too. So I wasn't able to post much in the forums for some weeks now, I just wanna say that I'm still alive :3
I'm still waiting for a reply from hoohoo to schedule our game.

Re: Sneak Peek

Wow the idea is awesome!

With the "sourrounding" feature it isnt just memorizing joseki, the website teaches you how/when to use a certain joseki.
But i encountered some performanceproblems f.e. when selecting A (3-4) and next the attachment F (4-4) the site slows down very much, dont know if you ...

I believe even if you're able to comprehend Franks motives this doesnt mean that you will agree with him, because everybody has a different code of ethics / morals (dont know if this is the right wording ~_~).

Re: Which EGC prizes do you prefer?

I'm against cash prizes even in the main tournament.
Money is the root of all evil, and we would all do best to stay away from the stuff.
Play for honor or not at all.

As for minor prizes I prefer cups and similar. Something you can look back to with joy in 30-40 years.

Oh gosh, I guess I've ...

Re: Determining big komi

I believe it is not possible to trade handistones with komi.

Obviously it is possible since people are doing it.
If you have some point, and not only was saying the first thing that got into your head, please expound.

Re: Starcraft II

There are some videos up on youtube showing the keyboard of madfrog (a former and my favorite wc3-pro) while playing. Although warcraft generally is behind starcraft when it comes to apm, madfrog had around 300-400 apm when in battle. If you watch the video you'll freak out, it looks so insane how ...
