webstart picked up new version 3.4.15 of the kgs client, but I still can't use that -nosplash option. Does it work for anybody?

Is it possible to get rid of the main window when using kgs as a standalone editor?
I just want to use it to quickly open a sgf file, nothing else.
java -jar cgoban.jar -open game.sgf
always bring up the extra main window, which I don't need.

wbaduk Dec 2010 update and wine
Has anybody else experienced a noticeable slowdown of the wbaduk client on wine since the latest update (late December 2010)? I had to install microsoft foundation classes (mfc42) through winetricks to get the update to run, and it's now sluggish.

Bleep: you mentioned a download of Shygost's lesson. The only place I'm aware of where to find them is http://tengen.bur.st, but it's rather old and there are only 10 or so.

move # for observers
When looking at the list of on-going games with the wbaduk client, I can't find any indication of the progress of the games (like current move # on kgs). It's kind of nice for observers to pick a game.
Am I missing something?
