The funnode server is constantly being improved based on players' feedback. If you guys have time to check it out and suggest improvements, perhaps it can one day compete with KGS

Hi guys ..

Just wanted to get your take on the score for this board. It's Chinese rules with 9 stones handicap. GNUGo scores this as a +4.5 for Black. However, I have been told by some experienced players that it should be +8.5 for White. Can someone please clarify/explain?

We have increased the time-limits for matches - You can now play a match over several days using the "24 hours per move" time-limit. Enjoy!

Please note, only signed-in players can use this setting.

You can challenge offline players ranked higher than you - the offline players will receive email notifications when it's their move.

We now offline messaging and friends' lists. Please feel free to suggest more features
