My 2 trips to the (2 week) European Go Congress were both cheaper than those suggested above due to:
- Cheaper congress fee
- Budget airlines
- Sharing a room in budget hotel with 3 friends
- Free accommodation in Bordeaux (thanks dmg!)

Poland this year looks to be cheap, though of course getting ...

I'm going to try my best, I still have a lot to save up. I'm trying to budget and $1400 seems like a lot. I might just wait until Congress is closer to home but if I can swing it this year I'll absolutely be there. And thanks.
