We don't want to "factory reset" the u1 to u5 settings on the clock, just start a new game (soft reset?). Any ideas?

EDIT - We tried taking the batteries out for 5 minutes and they U1 thru U5 settings still show the prior game data.

Our club just bought some Excalibur Game Time II clocks and we are having trouble resetting the clocks for a new game. The manual says to turn the clock off and then back on. This doesnt reset.
