Wow, interesting detail!
I had fun watching some of this stream. Where do people talk in English about pro games these days? I've checked r/baduk and r/proweiqi, and here, but found nothing quite as lively as this space used to be.

Wow, Ke-Weon match was so crazy! Great broadcast by Redmond, though at 7 hours I spent a good amount of time fast-forwarding...

I can't see it any time soon, but you never know! It would be cool if it were more global, even a champion from elsewhere in Asia would be cool.

Re: The Reign of Ke Jie
I was doing a search to see if anyone discussed why Ke Jie went to university. I didn't see a direct discussion of why, but saw that some other pros also did. Is it normal for top pros?

Re: 13th Chunlan Cup
Thanks Uberdude, that's another really interesting and fun game, good material for me to work through slowly! There's something about those elephant jumps, so close together and so aggressively not connected that's hard for me to wrap my head around.
That linked Chinese page is cool too, lichigo ...

Re: 13th Chunlan Cup
Thanks both! I was thinking especially of moves 40-50. All the (elephant) jumping around just doesn't look like what I'm used to seeing. Did that seem "normal" to anyone? I was watching a stream, Biba or Kim Yoonyoung, who pointed out that there were something like five elephant jumps in that area ...

Re: 13th Chunlan Cup
Thank you for the info! Does anyone have any thoughts on the Ke Jie game? It seemed pretty surprising to me but I didn't really understand it.

Sunset Park, Brooklyn
Does anyone know anywhere to play in Sunset Park, Brooklyn?
I'll look around on my own, but thought I'd ask just in case.
I've been here for a year and haven't seen anything in the park
or anywhere, but I haven't really canvassed the place yet.

Re: Go in Shanghai
Hi, cdybeijing, and/or others, I'm here in Shanghai for a visit and am curious to check out the go scene. Do you know if that Sunday thing is still happening? Also, has anyone ever been to this place: http://www.youhuangli.cn/ ? I think it's mostly a guqin place, but apparently they have go on Saturdays.
