The internet is an (more or less) anonymous place, and most people don't give a shiт about their opponents.

Maybe. But then again, old OGS Title Tournaments had over 90% quitting rate, and an extremely higher number of people complained about them, compared to the supporters.

I will wait for a (better) compensation on OGS.

I'm sure that, given time, the Leaderboards will make up for it. (And cool new tournament formats for correspondence will follow to fill the gap!)

I am. My time is well spent on OGS, where the Admins are user-friendly, the developers work on constant progress and everything for free.

What a remarkable achievement after so many years of nothing.

Well, that's one of the reasons why I like OGS and chose it as the server of my choice. Development might be slow, but it is also steady. And I'm quite sure it will still be here in 10 years.
