Ok, now I’ve figured it out:
I have to rename the downloaded zip-file “cgoban-h.jar.zip” into “cgoban-h.jar”. Then windows 8 (my operating system) actually realize atomically how to start the jar-file with the java-runtime. Just click on it. My mistake was that I have unzipped the jar.zip -file. But ...
