I'm having trouble figuring out how that position was reached in the first place. What does it give as the move order that created the position?
Ah yes, I forgot to include that diagram. I'm on my phone now but I will add it when I wake up tomorrow. But the position arrives from black capping ...

Re: Re-introduction (Baduk student in Korea)
Hi!
I'm studying education in Sweden and I would really like to include baduk in some way. Do you have many students there that only stays for a shorter while, like for writing their thesis or something? Or is it mostly about doing the complete program start to finish? I'll try to see if my ...

Re: Ishi Press Archives - quality of reprints
I can confirm. I was about to buy some of the new reprints of the old ishi books, breakthrough to shodan was one of them but the text was actually so bad, blurry, grey and almost a bit pixelated I didn't think it would be enjoyable to read. Re: Crazystone
I bought the 2013 version in January 2015. Later that year I sold my PC and bought a new one. I just installed the program, put in the serial number on the first startup just like before and then it just worked, no problems at all.

A friend of mine has lived in Seoul for the past two years and he told me there are always (old) people playing baduk in the parks he passes by.

Re: Starting go in your later years
I began to learn the rules right before new years eve last year, and have since then made it to almost 5kyu KGS. Yesterday I took white in an even game against a solid 3 kyu and won. I think that is a pretty good progress for less than a year? Oh and I am 23. Don't listen to anyone who says you ...

Re: One in a billion
Welcome to go, and good luck on your quest.
One of the things that you do not have on your to do list is to play against stronger players. An opponent at your own level will simply not be able to punish most of your mistakes, and they can easily become bad habits which are hard to break. Play a ...

Re: One in a billion
Sure has been a while since the last post. Since then I've played on and off and managed to get myself to 8kyu on KGS, but right now I'm floating around 9-10kyu. It has become obvious that if I want to keep progressing I really have to put in some effort. So from this day and for the rest of the ...

A little update...
I have been mostly idle on KGS, though I've been trying to do problems every day (but I need to do way more each day...) and I have lots of games on DGS running. But you know, sometimes life gets in the way (lame excuse, I could devote more time if I tried and planned better ...
