LKGS is a young GO server and if the Go community around the globe has the patiency to wait till some essentials are programmed further on by the smal team (3 developers), e.g. reviews and a fully English translation of the menus, then LKGS might have a future.

The legendary player Go Seigen (born 12th July 1914) demised on 30th November 2014 … it's now the 8th day...

As Non-Asian with European background I did my first two testgames on 6th and 7th December against a 4kyu (LKGS) after I discovered the new address this week on Facebook .

1st I lost as white (b+21.5) because my attack on black's bottom right corner failed...

These days this question came up in my mind, releated with...
the famous Sixteen Soldiers Game: Go Seigen (1914-2014) vs. Kosugi Tei (1898-1976)

This game was played on 1933-10-10 in the Oteai, between Kosugi Tei (4PD/black) and Go Seigen (5PD/white). White won by resignation.

I have started on 26th January 2014 with an account on KGS, as many do nowadays to play on a GO server first. Very quickly it came up the question for me how to study Go ...

The global Go community is mourning since Sunday, 30th November ... legend GO Seigen (12th June 1914-30th Nov 2014) demised at the age of 100.
