Line thickness are the same in both directions (about 1mm). Line spacing widthwise and lengthwise cannot be the same.


yes, I was just wondering if any other dimensions were different on your board aside from the over all bigger size, resulting in the bigger edge.

Hello,

Goban size can vary more than you expect.

My goban: shinkaya (japanese maker), thickness: 30mm, total width: 438mm, total length: 469mm, top and bottom edges: 19mm each, left and right edges: 14mm each.

I may have finally found my Go board. I recently purchased this board from Japan and received it two days ago. I was surprised at the weight of it. It weighs about 46 pounds which is due to the masame cut which is a heavier than itame cuts. It is much heavier than larger size boards that I've ...

I'm also a noob to Go, and I've been looking for a board for awhile. That's a crazy good deal! You could make money off of selling to others I'm sure.
