I thought to give GoUniverse a try and installed the Chrome extension, but then ... what's supposed to happen? There's no extension icon showing up at the top right and I have no way to access any new KGS interface via Chrome or going to gokgs.com. How do I even start up this client? :scratch ...

To be sure if is it KGS lag or not, next time try to request anyone info or try to write something in the chat. If everything is ok, but you still can't place a stone, then try to close the gameroom with your match and reconnect to it. Also press F12 and if you will see any errors in the log pm me ...

Is the GoUniverse extension for Chrome (Windows) still maintained?

I like it a lot, but I do not get any stone sound (although 'Sound' is ticked in the settings). There is sound (the bell ring) when I accept a game invitation, but not for stones ... :-(

The Board is saving the last state. This means that when you close a tab with the board or the entire browser, the program will store the current state of the board ...

Are there any news on the KGS server front concerning GoUniverse?

No special news yet. I'm still upset that there is no way to register without installing CGoban. In my opinion it must be the first thing to do, to let ppl register through a form on the KGS official site.

One comment: After a game ends, it would be nice if the chat kept functioning. As it is, I can't thank my opponent after a game, and if he or she thanks me, I don't see it. I will try again to study this problem. Earlier, I tried to repeat this error several times, but it never worked for me ...
