Seeking the GoGoD Encyclopedia
The history and culture encyclopedia that was discontinued in 2013 or so. I have tried for years to get my hands on a disc, without success. I'm practically distraught

A while back when I was taking my first steps, someone in these forums commented to me that most amateur games are won and lost because of shape, and fighting. As I've learned more, I've come to understand that he was right.

WUT? When was that announced? How could I have missed that?
The historical encyclopedia part has been discontinued, not the games database. In 2013 after T. Mark Hall passed away, it was announced on the site. It's in the FAQ. My luck that I got interested ...

So I've played a couple dozen games against the computer, and feel like I'm not a complete and utter beginner anymore.
