Re: Some Lizzie Ai questions

Lightvector, you're a real gift to the go community!

I'd just like to add that there is a software called LizzieYzy https://github.com/yzyray/lizzieyzy/releases, which is Lizzie on steroids in a way. It comes with the latest executables (both GPU and CPU), latest 40b net, strongest 15b net etc ...

Re: Segoe Kensaku and the Nihon Ki-in

I encourage you to read the book by Cho Hunhyun - Go with the Flow, published in 2018. There are quite some stories about Segoe Kensaku, Cho Hunhyun's teacher.

Re: KataGo @ Igo Hatsuyoron 120

I wonder if Inoue Dōsetsu Inseki had deliberately set the stones for the big sacrifice to trick us into a variation without a solution (by 1 point heh), but he inteded the early gozumi all along. If ever, I would like to assume that it is just the other way round. Agreed, it's just more beautiful ...

Re: KataGo @ Igo Hatsuyoron 120

Thanks for the explanation. So you intentionally set the komi to -1 to find the best possible moves there are. That makes sense.

Re: Igo Hatsuyoron 120 => new specific KataGo network in dev

Starting from the problem's starting position, it evaluated Black's win rate for komi = -0.5 / -1 / -1.5 with (about) 5% / 50% / 95 %, which should be sufficient evidence that White will really win the game by two points at a komi of 1 point! And that the problem does not have any flaw! I assume ...

:) :salute:
Nice! Would that mean that some other human josekis, like taisha, have been hinted and investigated as well (if they ever occured in those games)?

Katago is skyrocketing compared to other engines... and it even show us the score and knows ladders.
johnsmith, being 6dan, are you able to beat katago setting maximum playouts to 12 (and 1 thread)? i'm trying to figure out how strong it is, thanks!

I've just tried one 5sec blitz game with those ...

Thank you for your quick reply. The compensation is not necessary, but again thanks.

Re: ZBaduk - LeeLa Zero from your webbrowser

Hi author. As a premium user, I'd like to know if your website is mining bitcoins or something similar during my visit and analysis? The reason I ask is because CPU % jumps from 5% (when not doing anything) to 90% when doing an analysis.

Re: ZBaduk - LeeLa Zero from your webbrowser

Thank you, looking all good now!
Is there a way to input komi, like 6.5 or 7.5. Is 7.5 default for Kata?
