What is your source for the claim that top Go players earn more than the top Chess players? Not disputing it, I just know very little about how much top go professionals earn. Why is there such a large gap between games 1 and 2 and the rest of the final? It seems that it would be much easier to follow the thread of the final, so to speak, if the games were held at a similar time. I could see one or two days of rest between the games, but two months?
