Re: Engine Tournament
Who is stronger between AQ, Rayon, and Leela? Can we rank them in 1-2-3 order?
Don't know anything about AQ. The DGS ranking of Leela and Rayon bots have been consistently showing Rayon with 2 stone stronger.
Leela v0.10.o , 4 Dan

Re: Locked out of DGS but didn't ping excessively
I was playing a number of games on DGS when after one submission I got a busy page which continued to ping the site repeatedly very fast. I didn't realize at the time that this would run out my quota or I would have tried to log off. I guess I'm locked out for a day. Sorry. Fred

Re: OGS has a new Glicko-2 based rating system!
We will see how good is the new OGS ranking system. One of the problem of OGS in the past was its ranking system, confusing 3 ranks, slow to adjust. Hopefully it will improve.

Re: Possible to improve ranking by playing MFOG computer?
Thank you shoreline. That is very helpful information. I have not played for many years so my old ranking is likely not accurate. So I will play the 9K bot on DGS a number of times to see where I am. Thanks again! Fred

Re: Looking for a good 1 dan bot
You can try to play "pachibot" at DGS, which ranks at 1 dan for quite bit of time.
Here is a list of kyu/dan level bots available at DGS:

Not sure about "good" or "bad" part of bots. But pachibot 1 dan ranking should be quite solid at DGS

Re: Possible to improve ranking by playing MFOG computer?
Hi ephriam22,
I am not sure you need to play computer or bots to get the proper specific timed games. I think KGS, OGS, DGS, IGS can gets you all kinds game settings easily with human. Also I highly recommend corresponding game at DGS or OGS as well for slow games.
What bots can do better for you ...

Re: Engine Tournament
I use game in x for my testing because this works with most engines. The gtp command is:
time_settings 3600 0 0
for a game in 60 minutes. But Orego uses some more time as allowed.
THanks for the information. I think you nailed the issue already correctly. I tried your setting and found Orego ...

Re: NG06 (Oakfoam) is 2nd Strongest Open Source Go AI
Hi,
I just had a try at Oakfoam, and so far, it seems GnuGo plays better on my computer. So there must be something wrong there.
I got Oakfoam from there: https://bitbucket.org/francoisvn/oakfoam/wiki/Install (Oakfoam 0.2.1)
I set up 3 matches against Gnugo:
