Escapers on kgs are a problem if you let it bother you.

- This "you" might just be an aspiring Go player whose first impression of the community is an escaper and people to "attack" him. Where's family friendliness in that?


and i didn't really hear 20-25kyu guys complaining about escapers yet ...

if you enjoy only the first game every day, just play only 1 game a day.
If you want to improve there are many other things to do than just "to play".

If i don't feel like playing go, i won't, even when there's a tournament around.
I can also have fun with my friends on a tournament without playing ...

Or should we all just start escaping? Escape nine times, then abandon and recreate account. You can play twenty games. All within rules. Overranked account is just gravy. We'd have mods on our side to kick the man when he's down and a policy of "sit down & shut up". Boy, would that be a riot? I'd ...

i think almost everything you do in life makes you a bit more "experienced"
Go too.
Maybe you develop logical abilities. Maybe Go doesn't to much at all but you develop social abilities while playing/chatting/laughing with other.

For me, Kgs is like a huge go-salon.
there is a huge room where everyone is playing and you can watch every game
there are small rooms on the sides for private games, if someone doesnt want to be disturbed;
Areas just to chat around, some rooms with tables for teachers and students.
