To address the original goal:

I'm not 'trashing' any rank- just saying that as much as GoQuest 1d/1700 is very meaningful to me, I realise that it means very little for dan-level 19x19 players.

I love 19x19- KGS 9k but have plateaued there- so I've decided to just focus on GoQuest 9x9 until I can get to 1dan.

Hi everyone,

Sometimes on IGS I send out invitations, click on automatch too; nothing happens, so I just leave the app and go on Goquest or whatever.

When I come back onto IGS, there are suddenly two people playing 'my game'. There is no way to get them off since the app seems to think it's me ...

Why is it so hard to go up in grade on IGS? I have won about 125 and lost 109, and I've been on like a 15 game winning streak. In my last game I even beat an 11k (I'm currently 15k). Is it something about the time setting? Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
