Handicap games are great! I'll play +/-9 stones. I would play with more handicap stones but get confused about where to put them after 9!
I think I actually prefer handicap games... the mad rush when you have to make up 9 stones!
And nothing is better than putting someone several stones stronger ...

ISTJ may be a good guess. A quick search suggests that they are the most abundant of the 16 personality types.

I agree wholeheartedly with the OP. I have a similar backstory... so I won't bore you with it. Seriously though, I wouldn't have learned a thing about Go if it wasn't for the great minds on L19 bumping into each other here for a little chat. And teaching the whole community in the process.
