Re: Dinerchtein vs van Zeist

I may be biased in that discussion because I won one of my games for the same reason but even if I try to think as objectively as possible, I come to the same conclusion, which is the following:

Re: European Professional Go League

I can't wait for the league to start.

Then we can all kibitz in wbaduk a game where Catalin, Alexandr or Ilja is playing as white against Diana or Svetlana. I can already feel the love you guys are going to get after you say "Ooh, what a tesuji he played" when in EuroGoTV we see Diana pressing the ...

By the usual law regarding complaints of inaccuracy you commit one of your own
Catalin Taranu is a professional already from what I gather.

Maybe, maybe not. He seems to have entered the European as a 7d amateur. And he was a Japanese pro. Now he wants to be a European pro - a different and ...

EGF members voted for the system proposed by British Go Association.

Re: Koreans about EGC: Hwang Inseong

If Koreans are interested in prizes, this years congress is a bit late in providing that information. Best I could find is 5k€ for Europeans (http://lifein19x19.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=16217#p16217), looks like non-europeans get warm handshake and "see you all next year speech".

Is this normal ...

Re: Koreans about EGC: Hwang Inseong

I would like to know what breakfast has told to the Koreans and what he asked from them? All I can find here are some replies. The wording of this answer ("of course it's bad") suggests that the question has been biased.

Are these questions the reason there is only 1 Korean player coming to this ...

Re: Ideas for the future of EC title

entertainment is unknown and flawed subject for jasiek.

Wrong.

Entertainment for the kyu player about the EC comes from watching EC players, games or results. (Maybe for some also from boasting to have also played in the EC.)

For this entertainment, it would be better of main tournament and EC ...
